This page explains what personal information Grouse Mountain Studio collects through grouse.studio, why we collect it and how we look after it. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Who is responsible

Grouse Mountain Studio is responsible for the personal information we collect. Our privacy officer handles every question and request about your information, and you can reach them at hello@grouse.studio.

What we collect

When you send the contact form, we receive:

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. This site doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

Why we collect it

We use your information to reply to you, understand your project, prepare a quote and apply the discount if it fits. If you become a client, we also use it to run the project with you.

We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you newsletters, and we never sell or rent your information.

Services that handle it for us

Because some of these services are based in the United States, your information may be stored there and be subject to US law.

How long we keep it

We keep your inquiry for as long as we need it to reply and follow up. If we don’t end up working together, we delete it once it’s no longer needed, and at the latest 12 months after your last message. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as the work and tax law require.

Keeping it safe

We protect your information with reasonable security measures: the site is served over HTTPS, our accounts are password protected, and only the people working on your inquiry can see it.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@grouse.studio and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or a concern, write to our privacy officer at hello@grouse.studio. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at oipc.bc.ca.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page if the way we handle information changes. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
